Data collection
When visitors visit the website or download, install or use one of the apps, no data is collected by us or any third party. No cookies are saved on your computer.
When users of the mobile app “SADISS Client” sign up for a SADISS performance (by scanning a QR code within the app), their IP address is logged by the web server software. This is required, because the server needs to be able to send performance data (synthesis instructions) to the client device. After closing the connection (for example by closing the app, or when the performance ends) the IP addresses are deleted. No other personal information is gathered. No information is stored permanently, e.g. in a database.
App permissions
The apps “SADISS Client” on Android and iOS require permission to access the mobile device’s camera. This feature is needed to scan the QR code available at a performance venue.
Time sync
It is crucial for SADISS performances that everything happens at the exact same time. We use a third-party time syncing service. As soon as the mobile app user scans the QR code of a performance, a connection is made to the service, which is run by
